Atlanta Convention Super Early Bird Registration Discounts May 28 – June 6
Attending the annual Rotary International convention is a perfect way to experience Rotary’s internationality, exchange ideas with fellow members, and discover new avenues – and potential partners – for service. It’s only once every several years that the United States has the honor of hosting the Rotary International Convention, and that time is coming June 10-14, 2017 in Atlanta. Even though it’s a year away, Rotary South is working on arrangements for round trip bus transportation, and a block of hotel rooms for our members.
The 2017 Rotary International convention will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center, June 10-14, 2017 and is expected to draw thousands of visitors from more than 130 countries, and fill 41,000 hotel rooms. The Rotary Foundation started in Atlanta in 1917 and the annual conference will celebrate the Foundation’s 100th anniversary. The worldwide organization serves as an advocate to governments and provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards and helps build goodwill and peace around the world. The convention is often described as a “mini-United Nations” because of its internationality.
In addition, general sessions, breakout sessions and House of Friendship exhibits offer countless ways to help you get the most from your Rotary membership and make your club stronger.
Those who sign up early will be rewarded!
