The 27th Annual John Carrigan Rotary South All-Star Classic events will take place in early December 2015, in Fort Myers, Florida. The John Carrigan Rotary South All-Star Classic was founded by Sanibel resident and football enthusiast John Carrigan in 1989 and was the first county-wide organized all-star football game in Florida. Rotary South Recognizes Scholar-Athletes

Rotary Club of Fort Myers South honored outstanding area high school seniors at the 28th Annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet May 14, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza in Fort Myers with over 200 community leaders, students, parents and mentors in attndance. Eighteen Lee County-area high schools nominated one top male and female varsity letter winner who maintained a minimum 3.2 GPA, was involved in school and community activities and demonstrated leadership characteristics. Rheem Team Renews Scholar-Athlete Commitment

The Southwest Florida Rheem Team has renewed its $10,000 commitment to underwrite two $5,000 scholarships as the Title Scholarship Sponsor of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South’s 27th Annual Scholar-Athlete Awards. This is the ninth consecutive year the Southwest Florida Rheem Team has supported the program.
