Charitable grants totaling more than $4,000 were awarded to four Lee County-based organizations by the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South at its meeting on August 25, 2014: Hope Clubhouse, Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, Interfaith Charities of South Lee, and The Music Foundation of Southwest Florida. Fredrick, our club-sponsored exchange student from Denmark was greeted by warmly around 1:00 A.M. The welcoming committee included Rotary South President Rebecca Goff, Secretary Steve Wassmann, Rotary District 6960 Governor Pete Doragh and Governor Elect Cyndi Doragh.
