38th Annual Rotary South Scholar Athlete Awards

On May 13, 2024, Rotary Club of Fort Myers South presented its annual Scholar Athlete Awards. This program showcases a male and female from each high school in Lee County, including the Lee County School District schools, charter schools and private high schools. Forty-two students from 21 high schools received recognition, and 16 scholarships were awarded, totaling $31,000. In its 38-year history, this program has awarded more than a half-million dollars in scholarships. The John Carrigan-Rotary South All-Star Classic will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5 at Fort Myers High School, with an awards banquet set for Monday, Dec. 3 at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre.
